Steve Hornbuckle
Field Service Representative
|
Steve Hornbuckle works as a field service representative for
KFSA's risk management services. In this role, he provides
customers with risk management, compliance and safety services.
He also helps to develop and expand safety programs that assist
in controlling insurance and workers compensation costs.
Hornbuckle was born in El Dorado and grew up in Newton and
Hutchinson, Kan. He graduated from Buhler High School and received
an associate's degree from Hutchinson Community College. At Fort
Hays State University in Hays, he earned a bachelor's degree in
speech and communications.
Before he came to KFSA in 2006, Hornbuckle worked for Ag Services,
LLC, assisting local cooperatives in central Kansas with risk
management issues, employee safety training, and government compliance
issues with the DOT, EPA, OSHA and various state agencies. He also
worked for a multi-state propane marketer, where he gained experience
with driver training and safety compliance issues.
Hornbuckle is a member of the Grain Elevator and Processing Society
and the American Society of Safety Engineers. Locally, he has served
on the City of Hutchinson's golf course advisory committee.
He and his wife have a daughter and a son. In his spare time, he enjoys
biking, fishing, hunting, playing golf and doing yard work.
