Melissa Snethen was born and raised in Topeka, Kansas. She graduated from Washburn Rural High School in 1994, then attended Johnson County Community College and KU. After working in the restaurant business and law field, Snethen began her career in the insurance business in 2004.

She is in the Topeka office with Dick Feldman, to assist him in servicing the livestock and feed yard business KFSA purchased from IMA. She holds the designation of Associate in Insurance Services.

Snethen is married to her high school sweetheart, has a daughter and a son. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, trying new recipes, listening to music and relaxing with her family.
