Geiman was born and raised in Lindsborg, Kan., and grew up working on the family farm. His father also worked in sales and called on grain cooperatives in Kansas. At Kansas State University, he received a bachelor's degree in journalism and public relations. After college, he gained experience in insuring farm equipment dealers. Geiman and his wife, Audry, have a son and a daughter. In his spare time, he enjoys being involved in his children's activities.
