Lee J. Gleason, AFIS
Vice President, Traditional Insurance
KFSA / Elliott Insurance Management

Lee J. Gleason was born and raised in Kinsley, Kan., where he grew up on his family's farm. After graduating from Hutchinson Community College and Spartan School of Aeronautics in Tulsa, Okla., he became a manager for Winter Livestock in Dodge City and Turner Farms in Great Bend.

In 1997, Gleason became an independent insurance agent in Hutchinson, selling health and life insurance to farmers. He came to KFSA in 2002 as a commercial accounts manager, serving customers in northwest Kansas and northeast Colorado.

When KFSA purchased Elliott Insurance Management in 2005, a downtown Hutchinson business, Gleason was chosen to head up Elliott as the general manager. Elliott provides auto, home, life, health and business and commercial insurance to people who live in the Hutchinson area, as well as farming operations in Colorado and northwest and northeast Kansas. He received his Agribusiness and Farm Insurance Specialist designation in 2007.

Gleason is a member of the Hutchinson/Reno County Chamber of Commerce, Hutchinson AMBUCS and Hutchinson Rotary Club, and serves on the golf tournament board for the Training and Evaluation Center of Hutchinson (TECH), a nonprofit organization that serves the developmentally disabled.

Gleason lives in Hutchinson with his wife, Lisa, and stepdaughter, Katie. Away from the office, he enjoys playing golf, traveling, tinkering with cars, working in his yard and spending time with friends.
