Joe Allen

Joe is a Commercial Account Manager in the insurance department and has worked for KFSA for over six years. Up until 2010, he was with the risk management department, providing solutions to customers’ safety and regulatory challenges, as well as supervising six Ag Services employees.
Prior to coming to KFSA, Joe spent five years with the Kansas Department of Agriculture as a pesticide investigator, where he enforced the State of Kansas and EPA’s pesticide regulations. He also has ten years of experience in water quality issues and irrigation concerns. Joe has obtained his Occupational Health and Safety and Health Technologist (OHST) designation and is certified as a Defensive Driving Instructor through the National Safety Council. Currently, Joe serves on the national education programming committee for the Grain Elevator and Processing Society (GEAPS), and is past president of the Great Plains chapter of the GEAPS. He graduated cum laude from Kansas State University with a Bachelor’s degree in agriculture, majoring in park and resource management. He is also a Class IV graduate of the Kansas Agriculture and Rural Leadership Program (KARL).
Joe resides in rural Inman where he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children.
