Jan Pruitt Commercial Accounts Manager |
|
Jan came to KFSA in August of 1987. He provides commercial insurance for customers in southeast Kansas and Missouri. Born in Beloit, he grew up on a farm six miles north of Barnard, the original location of the Wear Ranch, which was established in the early 1800’s for raising carriage horses. His family’s ties to the agricultural industry are multigenerational, as both his father and brother have been involved in the ag field all their lives After attending high school in Lincoln, Jan went on to receive his Associate of Arts degree from Hutchinson Community College. At Fort Hays State University, he earned both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Elementary Education and Administration. Jan taught and coached from the junior high to the junior college level for ten years in western Kansas and in Hutchinson Jan and his wife, Karla, have two sons. J.D. is employed by Ag Services, LLC, and J.C. is a college student. He enjoys spending his spare time with his family, and playing and watching sports of all kinds. |
