In 2005, Beckie came to KFSA as a project specialist in KFSA's human resources department before moving to the insurance department in January 2007 as a licensed insurance agent. Prior to KFSA, Beckie worked for Co-Mark, Inc., an ag service business composed of a group of southern Kansas cooperatives.
Born in Wichita and raised on a wheat and cattle farm in Cheney, she was very involved in 4-H Club and other agricultural activities as a youth. Beckie majored in agriculture all four years of college and participated in Ag Student Ambassadors, Block and Bridle and the K-State University Rodeo Club. She received an Associate's degree in Animal Science from Hutchinson Community College and a Bachelor's degree in Animal Science from Kansas State University.
Beckie currently serves as a board member on the Reno County Extension Executive Board and is a board member on the 4-H Program Development Committee. Her husband, C.J., is a self-employed producer and rancher. Together they have a son and two daughters. Beckie enjoys spending time with her family, reading, working outdoors and helping on the farm.
